What to Expect
Before a Sale
When you're listing an item on Clutch, you'll be able to estimate the shipping cost using the Shipping Estimator at the bottom of the page. It's up to you whether or not you want to charge a flat rate for shipping or calculate it for each individual listing.
After a Sale
Shipping labels and shipping materials can be purchased on Clutch after you sell an item. Damage and signature insurance for the full value of the item are also available for purchase.
For your protection, we verify the buyer's information and secure payment on high cost items.
Item Cleared for Shipment
When the item is cleared for shipment, it must be shipped within 3 business days.
You can now purchase international shipping labels directly on Clutch. We’ve streamlined all the customs forms to make shipping around the world via USPS, DHL, and UPS a simple click-and-print process.
International labels are available on any item under $2,500 USD. As with all other shipping labels purchased through Reverb, your shipment is safeguarded through our Reverb Shipping Protection. If your package runs into any issues, simply contact our friendly support team and we’ll get your claim quickly processed.
Clutch Shipping Protection
Protect yourself if your package is lost or damaged during shipment. Buy with a Clutch Shipping Label for only a fraction of your gear's sale price.
If your item is damaged or lost during shipment and you've purchased Clutch Shipping Protection with a Clutch Shipping Label, we'll cover the cost of repairs or reimburse you for the sale amount. Buying Shipping Protection is required when purchasing a Reverb shipping label for items with a sale price between $1500 USD and $10000 USD. Shipping Protection is not available for items with a sale price over $10000.

Clutch Shipping Protection Terms
Damage inquiries must be submitted within 7 days of package delivery. Inquiries for lost packages can not be filed within 15 days of shipment for UPS or within 30 days of shipment for USPS. Shipping Protection applies only during transit from your premises to the shipping destination. Reimbursement will not be provided when loss or damage is a result of improper, inadequate, or unsafe packaging or wrapping, which shall be determined at Reverb's sole discretion. See the UPS packaging guidelines or USPS preparing packages page for tips on preparing your package for proper shipping. Note, a flight case or other similar hard case packaging is not sufficient packaging. The maximum reimbursement will not exceed the value of the item's sale price on Reverb.
USPS and UPS insure items with declared values of up to $100 at no additional cost.
Quick Shipper Badge
Get the Quick Shipper badge to inspire confidence with buyers and show them that you ship orders promptly and provide outstanding service. Sellers with the Quick Shipper badge are given the ability to offer 2-Day Shipping Rates to their buyers.
How do I get the Quick Shipper badge?
- Sell and ship at least 3 orders.
- Maintain an average order ship time of under 24 hours and ship at least 3 orders in the last 90 days.
- Note: Sellers who have not shipped in the last 90 days maintain their badge status. Sellers who have shipped less than 3 orders in the last 90 days but have shipped their orders in under 24 hours maintain their badge status.
